It seems as if three things are plaguing on my mind more then others, one of which is my PhD which is good but the other 2 a less healthy. The first is my former girlfriend and the other is the Nintendo Wii.

The former of the 2 is some what depressing and will possibly make you as the reader think "Anil, ur a tit!".

The later, however, is much more exciting. The Wii has been released in the US to much excitement and I feel the exact same way. My desire for a Wii has started to consume me so much I feel I should be running around in a loin cloth talking about the "precious". As a result I have ordered one, in a few weeks I will be the proud owner of the latest in interactive gaming technology. Alas it is still a few weeks away and I am getting anxious. In fact I have been looking at reviews, video footage even pictures of the circuitry. I have deemed it Wii porn ( though I don't think it qualifies as watersports) and I am hooked. In fact it would be fair to say, I want it more then Cartman does. If only time travel could work.

Some of you might know about my little civil war in my phd office. It is a simple fight to ensure that my head isn't cold but that is not the point of this post, but it has come to help me realise that I fucking hate working with people. Bosses, underlings, co-workers are fine as long as you don't have to be in the same work space for more then the required lenght of time to get what needs to be done, done.

The thing for today .. Steve has said that during my struggle to ensure warmth I made him feel like he was "black". He tried to compare his bullshit stance to a right to vote/walk/interact. He tried to tell me that he felt like me around racists. The difference is that I do my best to make people around me feel comfortable. Fuck it, he is finishing soon.

SO I think I made a giant faux pas on friday. In my annoyance at the loss of bobby as the dj in mine and the general uselessness of the dj who replaced him. I voiced an opinion about how I would like to have a black man be the one who plays black music. Now to be honest I would be happy with a wigger even but that is beside the point.

So maybe I am racist ... but aren't we all? There is a certain amount of theater to djing and u essentially are an entertainer. If ur a hip hop and r&b dj you should look the part. Personally I think a person of color would look the part better. Then again what do I know, maybe I am letting my personal bias effect my opinions .. oh wait I though that was freedom of speech.

Fuck em, it is not like I said it to a punter, it is not like my opinion matters and it is not gonna effect the quality of my work. Why is that white people get so weird about race, I have to put up with faux racist bullshit all the time, u can fucking well listen to me once in a while.

I got 50c on ... I am watching like 10 white girls who think they can dance ... maybe the only white people who can dance are gay? Or maybe I am feeling paticularly racist.

WE now have a new dj in mine for RnB ... he is sadly the whitest man .. I may not have always liked bobby's music choise ... but the man at lest added the theater of black music here.
